Description
1 Activation This is only possible when the temperature of the Timestrip TP175 is 8°C/46°F or higher. Fully press the button on the back between thumb and finger. A blue line and the word “ON” will appear. Within 5 minutes, place the Timestrip TP175 below 6ºC/43 F for a minimum of 1 hour. This will arm the indicator so that it can begin monitoring the temperature. If the item or the card it carries is already below 6ºC/43 F, the indicator can be set directly after activation. Always 1 or 2 products per 50 units are supplied free of charge.
2 Monitoring Once the Timestrip TP175 is activated, as long as the temperatures remain below 8°C/46 F, the blue dye will not pass into the white window. No rupture has occurred.
3 Rupture Each time the temperature exceeds 8°C/46°F, the blue dye will move through the white window and record the cumulative rupture time. The progress of the blue dye is irreversible, but will stop each time the temperature drops to 6°C/43 F or below.
